Offense win games while defense wins a championship, that’s the philosophy of Coach Tara Vanderveer that’s why she achieved so many things in her career as a basketball but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t value the continuity of a particular offense of the team. When it comes to offensive strategies, Tara Vanderveer is also known for it but she is just best known for being a defensive coach rather than a offensive one.

Tara Vanderveer achieved a lot of things in her career as a coach since she led the US national team in winning a gold medal during the 1996 Olympics. In my own personal opinion, I respect the continuity of the offensive strategy of Tara Vanderveer but when it comes to her strategy for the defensive end of the floor, she is just very amazing because the opposing team would surely be having a huge problem every time she implements her defensive strategies. Tara Vanderveer is a great coach and as of now in 2014, she is offered again another contract extension so that she will be able to lead her tea in NCAA towards another championship.

Being a head coach of a particular college basketball team is not easy because Tara Vanderveer needs to deal with players that will not be playing for her for a very long time since those players would certainly graduate from time to time but she is just very good in polishing the offensive skills of those players that’s why Tara Vanderveer is considered as one of the best coaches in NCAA history. I hope that Tara Vanderveer will continue to lead her team towards the championship since she is offered another contract extension right now. She is a great coach and I am a big fan of her.
