tara vanderveer indiana university
During
her college days, Tara Vanderveer played for Indiana University and she had an
amazing and successful season on that University. After several years playing
for that university, she was awarded as a hall of fame member in that team
because of her achievement while playing for Indiana University. From the year
1972 up to the year 1975, Tara Vanderveer spent her playing career in Indiana
University and she was very successful with it. Tara Vanderveer is not only a
great coach today but also a great player in the past way back while she was
still playing for Indiana University.
The
Indiana University was very thankful and blessed that Tara Vanderveer was once
a part of their roster that’s why she was awarded as a hall of fame in that
University. She played great basketball in that university but sad to say, Tara
Vanderveer did not coach Indiana University, she was just a player back then
under that institution because she coached most of her time in Stanford
University instead of her college team the Indiana University. The people and
players of Indiana University respects and recognizes Tara Vanderveer because
of her efforts and achievements on that team.
I
am a huge fan of Tara Vanderveer and her playing years with Indiana University
is just very memorable. She has a lot of memories while playing in that team,
good memories to be specific. Right now, she is more focused on coaching and
not in playing because she is already 60 years old and contributed tremendous
efforts under the Stanford University. To conclude, I wish that Tara Vanderveer
will still be able to lead her team towards championship after being offered
another contract extension. She is a great coach and ones a great player during
her time and she will always be remembered as one of the Elite players and
coaches in the history of women’s basketball.
